Chicago Auto Show 2013, a set on Flickr.
Another year, another show.
This year was decidedly quiet compared to those in the past or even the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Not as many concept cars and a lot of recycled booths.
Some standouts include the Lexus LF-A and the Polestar versions of the C30 and S60, which I think are just stunning. I also had a chance to drive the Cadillac ATS with a former race car driver in the passenger seat guiding me through the paces.
But my favorite drive was the Hyundai Veloster Turbo. That’s a fantastic car!
Biggest disappointment? The Ford Escape Titanium. Not the interior, which was nice, but at 3k miles it felt as though it had 30k and certainly not as tight as 60k on a Honda. Tsk tsk, Ford.
