This is not staged. Walking around Wicker Park E and I saw this lovely
token of affection by Mother Nature. She’s so crafty.

My new home stop. It’s covered. Underground. And HUGE! And I’ll get a
seat, getting me downtown with little fanfare in about 30 minutes.
Poor saps down the line. They should be done with all the construction
in a few months.

It’s much bigger without stuff in it. Trust me. The movers are nearly
done. And I am grateful for their help. Getting all of this stuff up
here was a pain for the seven of my friends who were nice enough to
help. But this time, movers. 🙂

So much for keeping the buses clean. This’ll be my last trip on the
135 to take to work. I’m sorta sad for it.

Another video project for us at work. I’m getting used to the software now, but need to step it up a bit. Cannot wait!

It’s WAY WAY too early to be anywhere, but here I am after spending
the night with Stacy and Bryan. I’m on the 7:00a flight to Chicago so
I can make it to work on time. Last time I did this I stayed at the
airport for the night but this time, because I had my own car, I
didn’t have to suffer so much. These folks were nice. And sleepy, too.

Back at Ron Berg’s studio in downtown Kansas City, we were in an
elevator that could carry a car. So beautiful and my second of the year.

The last time I saw one of these pumps was in northern Michigan back
when Kristen and I used to camp for a week at a time. Back then the
dials didn’t move as quickly as they do now. So this this is clinking
away for dear life.

Katie, the talent’s puppy, stands vigilant for robbers of our cars in
this sleepy town 30 minutes north of Manhattan, KS. I cannot help but
think of movies like Temptation and The Day After when I am out here.
I know that The Day After was based in Kansas, mostly around Lawrence.
It’s a great little town! Not a Starbucks for MILES. Yay!
