I’m waiting for E at very late in the evening. It was once an odd idea to travel with someone through life but now it seems natural and beautiful. Thus ends my work week at my parents’ home. Now it’s play and fun!

I’m taking time to do a task I’d rather do myself than give to a machine: wash the car. And it’s a dark-colored car so that doesn’t help especially with unpredictable weather. I’m sure this act will cause rain.

The priority of the week is insulation in our travel trailer. I’m learning as I go… Including now redoing some of what I did so that the wall panel fits. Go figure.

We are on our way home. E got a great seat and so I have a wonderful view of the engine. And now I have a new desktop for my phone.

On my way back from Aruba we are sitting on the tarmac. Reason? No clearance. Apparently they didn’t know we were leaving. I hate to imagine making connections now.

And that’s Aruba. Good flight. No food. Or you have to pay $7 for a lousy sandwich. Still I’m here after 4 hours and it’ll be 85 degrees soon. I cannot wait.

I’m off to Aruba… On my own. Apparently the six inches of snow got to the better of Detroit and so they’ll likely be re-routed through. Miami. Maybe today. Maybe tomorrow. Of course I expected them to be here so I have nearly no idea where to go when I land. We’ll see.

Just got to Charlotte. Grabbed some food and now waiting for my flight in about an hour. No sign of Aunt Carol or Jessie yet. Weird.

It’s way way too early to be awake, let alone drag E up to take me to the airport at her great insistence. I am going to Terri’s wedding (2 of 2) in Aruba for four days. I am excited but oh-so tired. Starbucks dirty chai.
